The BAM Collective

The BAM Collectiveis a collective of artisans and artists with roots all over the world. Together, we create socially engaged art projects and develop unique, meaningful products. Every piece tells a story—about identity, connection, and social engagement. Through our work, we make our voices heard and contribute to a more beautiful, inclusive, and constructive society. A society that has also become our home.

OUR PROJECTS

We create social initiatives and art projects in collaboration with a wide range of organizations dedicated to making a positive impact. Together, we produce art prints, T-shirts, tote bags, and many other meaningful items. Alongside these collective projects, each member also creates their own work in a distinctive personal style.

We are committed to contributing to a better world and a healthier climate. Each of us does this in our own way. Our products are handmade, locally produced, or made on a small scale. They are crafted from 100% natural materials, recycled or upcycled materials—or, in many cases, all of the above.

OUR STORY

We came to the Netherlands as refugees, starting a new chapter in our lives. Our existence can often feel temporary, shaped by feelings of displacement and loss, and by memories of what we left behind—a home that no longer exists.

At the same time, we are driven to create. Art and craftsmanship give us direction and help us make sense of both our past and our future.

We are building a new home and actively contributing to the society we are now part of. Through exploration, creativity, collaboration, and sharing our work—including through the arts—we find our own place and help shape the community around us.

We organize workshops, create meaningful products, and share our stories. We do this through community events and collaborative art projects.

Over the years, we have participated in events at Pakhuis de Zwijger, The Move Collective, De Meent in Amstelveen, the storytelling event Home Is a Story You Carry on Your Back at Framer Framed, and many more.
